Terms of Service

1. General provisions

1.1. These Terms govern the use of the "Stats" web analytics service (the "Service").

1.2. By using the Service you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1.3. Definitions: User – a person or entity holding an account; Account – individual access to the Service; Plan – the selected package of features and limits.

2. Scope of the Service

2.1. The Service collects and analyzes website traffic statistics in a privacy-friendly way (without cookies that identify visitors).

2.2. Available features depend on the selected Plan. The Operator may develop, change or discontinue features.

3. Registration and Account

3.1. Registration requires a valid email, a password, and acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

3.2. The User is responsible for the confidentiality of login credentials and for activity on their Account.

3.3. The Account is personal; sharing access with unauthorized persons (outside the in-app team feature) is prohibited.

4. Plans, payments and billing period

4.1. The Service is offered in a free plan and paid plans with parameters and prices stated in the pricing.

4.2. Payments are one-off for the selected period (30 or 365 days) via payment providers. No auto-renewal unless stated otherwise.

4.3. After a paid period expires, a grace period applies during which data is retained in line with the Privacy Policy.

5. User rights and obligations

5.1. The User shall use the Service lawfully, including data-protection laws applicable to the websites where the tracking script is deployed.

5.2. The User shall not abuse the Service (e.g. artificial events, attempts to bypass limits) or compromise system security.

5.3. The User is the controller of data collected via the Service on their websites; the Operator acts as a processor for such data.

6. Data and privacy

6.1. Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.

6.2. The Service is designed not to collect data that directly identifies visitors of the User's websites.

7. Availability and liability

7.1. The Operator strives for continuous operation but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may perform maintenance.

7.2. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator's liability is limited to fees paid by the User in the 12 months preceding the event.

7.3. The Service is provided "as is"; the Operator is not liable for business decisions based on statistics.

8. Termination and account deletion

8.1. The User may delete the Account at any time from settings. After confirmation, access to the Account, sites and stats is blocked. Physical cleanup of analytics data, logs and technical backups runs asynchronously according to system retention, TTL and backup policy.

8.2. The Operator may suspend or delete an Account for material breach of these Terms, after prior notice where feasible.

9. Complaints

9.1. Complaints can be submitted via the Contact page and are handled without undue delay.

10. Changes to the Terms

10.1. The Operator may amend the Terms for valid reasons (legal, technical, scope changes). Users will be informed of material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law and disputes

11.1. For EU Users, Polish law applies, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules. Consumers may use the EU ODR platform.

11.2. For US Users, using the Service forms a binding agreement (clickwrap); disputes are resolved under the mandatory law applicable to the Operator's place of business.
